Anyone know where I can order some France-Lames or Prieur weapons?

I can't seem to find a distributor which sells them in the States... any help here would be very...well...helpful

    Thank you.

Triplette carries FL, Zivkovic carries both FL and Prieur.

Blue Gauntlet is carrying the new Prieur/FL blue maraging blades.

In case the original poster isn't already aware, France Lames went out of business last year. Prieur recently bought their forge and brought it back into operation. The new "Prieur" FIE blades currently still use the France Lames FIE homolgation stamp, since that's what the FIE has on their 'approved' roster. Prior to their purchase of the defunct FL forge, Prieur sold blades produced by Blaise Freres. At any rate, you'll need to verify from the vendor whether the blades in question are 'old' France Lames, 'new' (i.e., under Prieur managment) France Lames, or BF-produced Prieur blades.

The 'old' FL non-maraging blades from the last several years were rather poor, and wouldn't be worth expending much effort seeking out. I don't know if Prieur has made any improvement in the quality of them since taking over the plant. FL maraging blades (with the exception of a few batches) are/were fine. The new Prieur/FL blue FIE blades are a good choice if you're looking for a light, flicky blade.
