This thread is a blatant rip off of someone else's posting on another forum. I just had to share it.
To customize for fencing.net the following should be added:
1 user to suggest using a propane torch for changing the lightbulb
3 users to point out the dangers of propane torches
2 users to ask where to buy a propane torch
1 user to report back that the propane torch ruined the lightbulb
7 users to comment on how using the propane torch was a joke and that the moderator should delete the post because of the potential damage to other lightbulbs

- 4 to post that lightbulbs are a perversion of candles
- 18 to debate whether or not lightbulbs are superior to candles
- 2 to post links to sites extolling the virtues of candles over lightbulbs
- 57 to comment that the authors of those sites have ridiculous viewpoints
- 1 to post a link where both candles and lightbulbs can be purchased
- 2 to post that techniques of candle-changing relate directly to and are superior to modern lightbulb-changing techniques when applied to changing lightbulbs
- 1 to ask obscure questions relating old candle-changing experts that few have heard of
- 24 to extol Thomas Edisson as the god of lightbulbs, past present and future.
- 3 old men posting to ogle the hottest women changing lightbulbs today
...and so it continues...
"When somebody drops something, people will kick it around rather than picking it up."
-1 member to post that back in the middle ages they didnt have lightbulbs, only candles
-1 member to say that when they were growing up they didn't have lightbulbs and they at candles for dinner and were happy to eat it before walking to a from school, through the snow, up hill, both ways.
1 member to point out that back when you depended on candles it was against the law for women to make candles.
