Talking to Michael Massik a couple of days ago the tournament committee has been asked to announce what days what events will be on by the end of August at the latest. He followed that by adding that he did expect the announcement until the last couple of days of the month, human nature being what it is. Personally I'd expect it a couple of weeks after that.

The entry deadline is September 10.
Perhaps, if the hosts want to ensure a good showing, consideration should be given to if declararion of events on what days isn't until the end of August, giving people only a couple weeks to make sure they have their entries in is just not realistic.

Human nature being what it is....is that just a nice way to say they're futzing around and no one can get an answer?

But then, USFA hasn't gotten the application up either....

Well, for once, they were quicker ... However, they only confirmed the date and location. The schedule of the competition is not out as of yet. Maybe in a couple of weeks.
