Array USFA schedule Just got my latest issue of the USFA National Newsletter. Sure enough, there's a picture of John Moreau on the cover, winning DIV I ME at the USFA summer nationals, and becoming my hero in the process. But in the article on page 1, it says, "John earned a berth on the World Veterans team, but is unable to go due to other committments." Sad, but this is a fact of life. There are few professional fencers in the world, and even fewer professional *vereran* fencers.
So I read on. Ah, here's the 2003-2004 NAC entry form and schedule, complete with the "new" eleigibility requirements. OK, great. I read about this "rumor" in a USFA BoD agenda, no surprises. And it was all over Fencing101 a long time ago. *yawn*
And here's the NAC schedule, complete with a glaring TBD for the location of the March DII/DIII/Vet NAC. My mind wanders, and I remember John can't go to an important competition because he has "other committments." Cause...effect, anyone?
So then I flip to the last page. A final note from the USFA on their Wbe Site. "Go to the USFA web site on a regular basis so that you don;t miss what you need for the start of the season. We post information on the web site before we do anything else so keep it on your list for regular visits."

Array In a sense, John is a professional athlete as he lives from fencing and martial arts. He teaches at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos. I also know that he peruses this website from time to time. http://www.education.swt.edu/vitae/moreau.htm http://www.fac.swt.edu/Beginning%20Karate/k009.html
Regarding the 2003-4 USFA schedule: http://www.fencing101.com/vb/showthr...&threadid=7256
The rumor is Reno, NV. -

Well, gee.... I find this supremely ironic, since I've just now gone to the USFA website and they STILL don't have the 2003-2004 schedule posted. Nothing is more frightening than ignorance in action. Similar Threads -
