Testing Bayonet Bodycord
From my inbox. (I use 2 prong, so I can't answer without getting some reference out...)
Question:What is the procedure used to determine the resistance in a body-wire with bayonet plug?
-
Use an ohm meter
A goes to Lame
B goes to tip (inside / end of bayonette)
C goes to guard (outside of bayonette plug).
to test the total resistance, use a jumper to connect the outer and inner parts of the bayonette, then measure the resistance across B & C.
Armorers like <1 Ohm.
