    alternative bags?

    So . . .
after trashing most of the fencing bags I've owned in fairly short periods of time, I am looking for a non fencing bag that will carry me and all my gear to tournaments. I have looked at golf travel bags, fencing bags, field hockey bags, ice hockey bags, lacrosse bags, and luggage. If anyone is using an interesting bag that qualifies as a wheel bag, does not have only a cloth handle, and has large seperate pockets for wet vs. metal stuff, and fits several (like about 5) weapons . . . PLEASE HELP!
    Cheers,
    B.

As someone who has fixed almost everytype of bags out that I can't think one that would meet your stranders. I am in the process of designing a bag right now for travel.

    Bag

    Tim,
Great, let me know if you want beta testers, and how much it is to buy the thing!
    Thanks

Ps. i know my standards are very high- but I figure there must be better way then spending 200-300 a year on bags alone!

A custom bag - count me in.

I currently ise a SKB hard case when I fly and an old Santelli red & Blue when I'm at home. I saw an giant bag at nationals. It was made by a company called Baqgboy. I found their web site at: http://www.bagboycompany.com/

They do not have prices on the web site but I thought I would pass on the info.

    Cheers

Perhaps you could just put a regular fencing bag inside a hard plastic golf case....

I've heard that hard sided golf cases are the way to go, but I haven't found one I like yet.

So if there is a custom bag being made, keep up informed of when the prototype is available to take a look at and take MANY pictures for us.

    Thanks!

    Thanks all,
So . . . so far I have come up with a hockey bag (by Itech) and the bag boy bag- however I have not seen either one. I was pm'ed by someone who suggested the PBT bags. I have to disagree about the hard golf bags as they only have one pocket and that will not do for me. . .
Keep the work or suggestions coming.

Ps. Tim- let me know what you are planning as I am very interested!!!
Also- keep up the recovery work!
