As your power supply is 2 volts less it's a toss up but probably won't
hurt to try. Something to double check though is the polarity at the
connector. You'll find that for much computer equipment there isn't
a standard. And if your power supply isn't adequate then hit the
computer flea market down at Foothill college this coming saturday.
It starts in the wee hours and ends by noon. But small power supplies
can generally be had in almost any voltage for a dollar or two.
