Cool T-shirt design?

Over the years I've seen some really fun t-shirt designs. (that we have of course copied) We are looking for ideas for a new club shirt. We have done the F_ _ _ ing club as well as a few of the other standards.

If we use your idea or design I'll send you a dozen of the shirts or $50.

Yes this is a cheap solicitation but we need ideas.

Cheers

Oooh! Free shirts!

I don't think this will qualify me, but: Immediately after I'd gotten some white shirts printed, a friend told me: "Never get t-shirts in white. They don't sell as much as other colors."

I don't know how true this is... but he used to sell a lot of t-shirts so he'd know, and the t-shirt I printed hasn't sold bupkiss (and it had a proven design).

Design suggestion: The absolute best fencing t-shirt I've ever seen, we did at NYU one year. It had the word "Fencing", and above it, a simple silhouette of a sabre fencer doing a victory cheer based on a photograph. Very cool, simple. One color. Everybody loved it.

white shirts lead to unsightly sweat stains.

especially if you do strenuous activity in them

like fencing.

My solution?

i tie dye them.

That said, My club's T is grey, has LSA (the schools initials), a picture of a couple crossed swords, then PFC (which is debateably my club's abbreviation, some claim it to be PFC, others PrFC... it's a matter i indend to get cleared up some time within the next year...) --- all of this on the left chest region. on the back, is the word "Fencing"--- this follows the same patern as every single other sport in my school. it's sold by the school store, so i can wear it to gym

however, other than gym, i don't wear it.

i prefer to wear my UMASS t-shirt. it's maroon. go figure.

We were thinking of the tie dye idea. The quest is to get something printed on them that's fun/cool then have a tie dying party.

This past spring I took my son to his first tournament. He is 15.
After we were there for a while watching the women's foil I asked "so, what do you think?"

His response was "I think cute chicks fence."

I think "CUTE CHICKS FENCE" is a pretty good slogan for a girls t-shirt.

Stop the Press!

RIchard! I got an idea....get Tulane to make the shirts for you, Tulane Fencers Club with their logo on the front and the sword thing on the back and sell them in the bookstore.

Tulane Fencing Club [green wave] on front
Foil-Epee-Sabre [in green] on back

Stick with those things, The alumni association will love it [i think] they have a whole procedure thing to follow to really get that going, just have a design made, my friends husband does design work for Invitations, and other stuff for the University for 20 years he's an artist, talk with me next time I get there and I'll give you his name. He can come up with something. Then the next thing is next time youhave a Tulane event, invite some of the Alumni to a little lunch thing, and introduce them to the girl and boys. That's your first event. Then maybe put a table up during Admissions? [do they still have in-person registration] to recruit interested students for your club. Before you know it, your NCAA and your first rival is LSU.
