| What ever happened to Sam? What has become of Sam Signorelli, aka Purplr Fencer?
He seems to have dropped off the face of the fencing world! |

| The Purple Fencer is in another thread, treading lightly. I'd better log off pretty soon, it's pretty heavy duty lately. I've been mostly reading the posts, but have been replying now and then. You should try to keep up with Jeff, and PKT they're taking over the world. |

| Last Time I saw him he was giving sabre lessons in the parking lot at SwordMasters. Of course, that was months ago... |

| I'm so gratified people are actually asking about me!!!! *sniff sniff*
I've been EXTREMELY busy lately...with the drum corps season about to start (this Friday for my corps, SoCal Dream...I'm the drum major) I've been on the drum corps boards getting some show info. plus the armory work has been coming fast...AND I've been helping my wife with her jewelry business (jewelry for belly dancers... www.bastdesigns.com), so I'm lucky I can even draw a breath!
I'll probably pick up my posts again after the corps season ends in August.
Thanks for thinking of me! |

| Dear Purple,
This is goodbye. I will miss you. You, Ouiyt, Arcon, Zarcon, Attila the Hun, and others were my friends. I wore purple sneakers in your Honor in Hawaii. I made a successful move to a new location, and I'm fencing again. I did okay this year, but cannot attend the festivities in Austin due to Dire Strai$$hts. I can't stand too much more, they are making fun of my dyslexia. Thank you for logging in so I can say Goodbye.
Goodbye. |

| Well...the corps season is over for me. Last show was July 20 in Loomis, CA (north of Sacramento)...where heat goes to live...it was 113 onthe field during practice, plus I was standing on metal stands, so I got a LOT of heat reflected onto me.I should be back posting on this board more frequently now...Thanks for worrying, guys.
Wanna see me? check out the following pics: http://www.renegades.org/media/photo/20030719 this is from a rival corps' site...my pic is down around the middle of the page...and I'm STILL wearing purple! I look like I'm walking because we were trooping the stands after our performance. As for the nickname I got tagged with, you sorta have to see me in performance! http://www.socaldream.org/media/media_photos_071303.php
Thiese are the official corps pics. My separate one is at the very bottom. http://www.socaldream.org/media/medi...203_072003.php
Shots from our last few competitions. Best one of me is near the bottom (I'm giving my salute to the crowd before we start the show) Click on it for a larger view |

Bundle up, Sam, you'll catch a chill! | Yeah...but you were probably inside with the AC running full-blast...I was outdoors waving my arms around, and some of our guys were carrying instrument weighing 25 lbs or more.
Mmmmm...a hot brass instrument against your chest....YIKES! |

| Zelda...you kinky girl, you! I was referring to a brass MUSICAL instrument, of course. Get yer mind outta the gutter and make room for me!
We actually had a few people in several corps' get 1st and 2nd degree burns from their horns! And the female drum major fro ther San Francisco Renegades (a fellow Sr. corps) got a nasty burn on the back of her calf form the metal frame of her podium!
Ahhh....the things I do for corps....kinda like wearing a straight jacket in the heat for fencing...no WONDER I like both activities! |

| Me? Kinky? NAH! My nickname @ fencing was Mistress Z for a TOTALLY different reason.....and besides I thought your mind was already in the gutter, not waiting for mine to budge up.
Sam I looked at your photos, do you always have that type of manical gleam in your eye or was it the light?

| When I'm up on the podium, I'd guess the maniacal gleam is pretty much constant! |
