    FIE Rules

Looking for an English translation of the latest FIE rulebook. Found this
    one:
    http://www.usfencing.org/Forms/Rules99.pdf

It says it's the latest one, it was published in 2000 and it "incorporates
changes made by the FIE Congresses through 1999"

Anyone got a link for a more recent version?

Also is there a website where I can keep up with the latest changes to the
rules? (Specifically interested in sabre rules).

    Thanks,
    J

The British Fencing Association has some rules updates but they want you to pay
for the complete rules (how shocking). But they are much more up to date than
    the US site.

This is as fresh as it gets, but it's not quite up to date.
For instance, it doesn't include the 1-meter penalty for
stepping off the side of the strip with one foot.

Thanks for that, really helpful. Is there anywhere I can find a list of
changes since it was published, including things like the 1 meter penalty
for one foot off the side. People at my club seem to have some trouble
keeping up with the latest changes, and had no idea what I was talking about
when I penalised a fencer for one foot off the side of the strip.
