II Esgrimamex Fencing Camp and Tournament
Aug 3 – 10 2003

CDOM (Olympic Training Center – Mexico City)
Recognized by the FME (Mexican Fencing Federation)

Head Coach: John Soter (FRA), Maitre d'Armes, Chateney Malabry (FRA)

Assistant Coaches:
Iván Emilio Argüello (MEX), Maitre des armes, National Sports Institute - Canada [coach @ Boston Fencing Club]
Gabriel Cruz (MEX), Maitre des armes, L'institut d'Education Physique et de Sports (FRA) [coach @

Programs for:
Children
Beginners
Advanced Fencers

PROGRAM
The programs have been designed for each category by expert Fencing coaches.

Advanced Program:
9:30 - 12:30 Warm up, Stretching, Physical Conditioning and Footwork
12:30 - 14:30 Lunch and Fencing discussions (bout strategy, rules, directing etc)
14:30 - 17:30 Technique, Bouting Drills, Individual evaluation
18:00 a 21:00 Open Bouting.

A follow up program will be prepared for each participant to reinforce what was learned in camp.

Children:
10:00 - 12:00 Warm-up, Footwork
12:00 - 12:30 rest
12:30 - 14:00 Technique, bouting drills and open Bouting

Beginners:
17:00 - 19:00 Warm-up, Footwork
19:00 a 19:30 rest
19:30 a 21:00 Technique, Bouting drills and open Bouting

COSTS:
I.- Advanced: $2,600.00 pesos (about $250.00 US)
II.- Beginners and Children: $1,700.00 pesos ( about $160.00 US)

Cost include use of CDOM, Closing party and Entry to the Tournament "II Torneo Abierto EsgrimaMEX"

Group and Early-bird discounts available

10:00 a 13:00 Children
14:00 Closing party

Sunday Aug 10
