All that I did was ask. I was a "trainee" for a while and now I'm on the list for national events.

Basically, it either involves sitting at a computer all day putting in results or dealing with the 'paper' side of things (sending out pools, posting stuff on the walls, answering questions, accepting DE slips from the winners). If you win a DE, you might be giving your DE bout sheet to me.

I think the requirement for Bout Committee is NOT smacking people. Which rules some of us RIGHT out.

Aww!!! Man, I could never qualify for being a directer then! I hit people all the time! For being sexist, for cussing, for being rude, for games, to emphisize on my conversation, and just because! lol, I never hit to hard though.

I know a lot of people who fence a lot and they're not even going to SN. Some people can't fence in a lot of events because... they're too old, they're not at a low enough rating... et cetera.
