German V2a points.

I know that there has been a discussion of this I the past, but I cannot seem to find it. Has anyone had any experience with the new tips? What exactly is the difference? I even heard that they were titanium, but that seems a bit extreme.

Any help would be appreciated!

V2 foil barrels (Uhlmann)

I bought some about six weeks ago and installed them on three regularly used weapons. I haven't had a "crunchy" tip yet.

They seem far superior to the softer version and worth the extra money. They're the exact shape of the regular barrel, have a brownish cast and are certainly hard. I haven't tried to round one out yet because I haven't had the need. Sorry, I don't know their metalic composition.
