They're made by STM from Ukraine. They're in between the base Leon Paul blades and BF blades in terms of stiffness. The ones I've seen so far seem to share the propensity of LP blades to take kinks and bends, and become mushy with age. I can't say right now whether how they'll stand up in terms of durability.

Word I hear is that they're actually stiffer than LP and less kinky :-) I'll try 'em out and report back.

I got my Santelli gold blade and started using it. It's not whippy (which is fine by me) but recovers its curve fine after a hit. Not long enough to tell about durability, but so far no sign of kinkiness. BTW, it has a stamp of "GS" on it. I believe there's at least one other vendor with a gold-color blade that's neither Santelli nor the same steel, yet has "SG" (note difference in order of letters). I asked, and these are not from STM.
