Epee Posting/Pommelling Advice Needed!

Hi,
I've recently had a lot of success in Epee switching over to a French grip and posting/pommelling. I'm hoping to get some help from folks more experienced in this technique.

1) Can I tape the pommell with something grippy? (It gets slippery after my glove gets sweaty.) Is there a legal stipulation as to with what I can cover the pommell?

2) Any advice on a French grip that will fasten to a tang cut for a pistol grip available at a seller here in the US? (I've contacted Leon Paul and apparently no vendor in the US carries their carbon fiber grip.

3) I've found that I get better leverage by bending the grip (Prieur rubber over aluminum). Any advice on an optimal bend for leverage? (I'd prefer trying what others have found success with to bending the heck out of my tang and grip trying different angles.)

Thanks in advance for any help!

Miguel

A coat of white athletic tape should do the trick. It provides greater friction without losing the feel of the grip. When it gets worn, change it. Best of all, it is CHEAP!

I dip my pommels in a can of the rubber compound used to coat plier handles. You can get it at just about any hardware store.
