    pseudo-wheelchair competition sometime!

    Ah, but will they have "butt judges"? In wheelchair fencing you have to keep
    your rump tightly affixed to your wheel chair seat. Otherwise people with
    limited mobility could get some advantage over less mobile fencers. It is
    considered cheating to do so.

    For those with no experience. In wheelchair Epee, there is a Lame lap robe
    which appears as strip to the machine to take away touches to the legs.

    We have a member in our club who competes in wheelchair. I always take
    the opportunity to fence her, because when you take you legs and
    mobility away, it REALLY makes a difference -- you definitely have to
    fence smarter and better when you are forced to have a facet of your
    game taken away. And I really give great credit to those referees that
    are capable and asked to referee the wheelchair events, because they are
    looking at the action and not the feet for determining their decisions.
