Beard burn

I don't have a removable bib, but what I do have is a bib that has holes in it from my beard stubble. Any suggestions on how to fix that or prevent it?

In my experience, shaving the morning before fencing can be a painful experience when you reach the evening...

To answer the question, I have patched masks that had holes in the fabric of the bib on the inside, either with iron-on patches or just by sewing them on. Never had a complaint while doing the security checks at the NACs

I have a Preiur foil mask, and the interlir lining is notoriously thin....my stubble would chew through it in no time.

I bought a removable liner from Triplette and sewed some velcro to the inside of the mask to protect the lining. Works pretty good...AND I cam remove and wach the lining when it gets too...fragrant...
