A screwless epee point mystery.

I got a couple of wired epee blades from Fencesmart a while back when they had them on sale for cheap, and they came with screwless tips.

WELL, I went to the Overland Park NAC and visited the Fencesmart booth to A) figure out which screwless tip I had and B) get spare parts for it.

WELL, I was informed that those were NOT his blades and that he had NEVER had any screwless tips and that he didn't know where I got the blades but they WEREN'T from him.
Then 30 seconds later he said he used to have screwless tips that he put on his econo blades but he hadn't had any for months. When I told him, "yes, well, I ordered and got these months ago." He continued to insist that they were not his blades, so I tried to ask him what screwless tips he used when he was putting them on his econo blades and he insisted that he never put screwless tips on any of his blades.

After that I gave up and just walked off...Later I was told I could only get replacement parts and extra tips from the place I bought them from. (well, that helps a lot, now doesn't it?)

Ok, so now that I've gotten my rant out of my system...
HOW, OH, HOW do I tell what sort of screwless tip I've got on my silly blades?????
And if there is no sure fire way to do that, is there anything I should look for to give me clues? (I should also mention, that I am not afraid of taking it apart if that might give a clue as to it's origin.)
Or should I scan some pictures of it and ask around until I find someone who will claim ownership?

Given the source, I wouldn't be surprised if they were the old Russian screwless points-- they may have found an unused stock available for cheap. In this case, you're probably S.O.L. on getting replacement parts.
