For Division II/III events, all those who competed will qualify for Division III in Summer Nationals (if they are ranked "D", "E", or "U"). The top 30 % will qualify for Division II in Summer Nationals. For veteran age events, any fencer who meets the age requirement, and has fenced in the Division qualifier, the Section qualifier, or any NAC in the 2002-2003 season may attend Nationals.

Under 19 events, with the exception of team events, qualify through Sectional qualifiers, which this year take place in Florida in May. The top 30% of those in the Under 16 and the Youth 14 events will qualify for Nationals. Youth 12 and Youth 10 can fence in Summer Nationals without meeting any qualifying criteria besides age.
