Philadelphia - Junior foil Andrew Radu and freshman epee Livia Rurarz-Huygens received the Penn Fencing program's 2003 Award for Excellence at the Quakers' annual postseason banquet held on April 13. In addition to the Award for Excellence, the Red and Blue also gave out its 2003 Most Improved Fencer award to freshman sabre Jeff Jorge and women's sabre Kate Zimmerly. All awards were voted on by the team's 2003 roster.
