technique question

im a sabre women fencer. according to my coach i have the "killer instinct" and good tempo. but im not too strong with technique. im also left-handed. any tips on how to fence better or wat to do? .. wat kinda advantages do left-handers have? thanks for ur time

The main advantage to being left-handed is that you will get a LOT more practice fencing righties than will most right-handers against lefties. In other words, your experience curve will be steeper. Fencing another left-hander may give you fits for a long time, though, unless there are lots of others around against whom to practice.

I'm a leftie too! Since Sabre is sort of like Foil when prepar to slash/flick parry their blade and go for under their arm, works like a charm!
