Really? The FIE state that you only need to get it done at A grade events (but that would be with your country code). However, most federations allow you to have your name printed with your country code when you first go abroad.

Mischa-

It's a US rule he's asking about. The US Fencing Association requires the name on the back or the trailing leg for any national level tournament, regardless of whether the fencer competes internationally. The country code is not required for domestic competitions, although there's no prohibition on fencers who don't compete internationally having it.
