Another successful year culminated at the Kansas City Open, hosted by the Fencing Athletic Club of Kansas City (
http://fac-kc.tripod.com), and organized by Five Rings Fencing Club (
http://www.fiveringsfencing.org - formerly known as ISA).
281 fencers participated in the 5 tournaments comprising this year's Heartland Circuit: Sioux City Challenge - IA, Wisconsin Turkey Meet, Illinois Open, Minnesota Open, and Kansas City Open, which saw at least 2 A1/A2 events in both Mixed Foil, and Mixed Saber, and several B1/B2 events in Mixed Epee.
The Heartland Circuit is sponsored by American Fencer's Supply, and Santelli; The top 8 finishers in each category will recieve a gift certificate. If this includes you, (and you do not live in Minnesota), please contact
chrishagen@usa.com.
Additionally, the top finisher gets their name engraved for posterity on the traveling trophy!
