Hello from Israel Fencer!!

Hi all i am Kamenir Ilia Fencer from Israel.
i am fencing for 8 years i was 7.5 years in epee and after 7.5 years i switched to sabre ( dont ask me why i even dont know hahaha). now i am "sabre man" lol j/k . Btw i just back from Trapani to all who know .
I am 16 years old.
Live in Ashqelon.
I glad that i found Fencing forum hope that i will learn something from here.

well nVm it was fun i was in the 64 but i training only half a year so next time i will do better ( I hope).

I am just as lost as I was a few minutes before. By the look of the writing , I assume then that Trapani is a town in France maybe?

It's in Italy; the Junior & Cadet World Championships 4th April -> 13th April.

i was reading the results, but lost the link awhile ago, will search again... so many different age categories it's impossible to follow everything in fencing.

mischa, you baffle me! you said you fenced 7.5 years epee, and switched to saber for 6 mos, but you represent israel in foil?

Kling's right. He fenced 7 1/2 years of epee, then switched to sabre and represented Israel at it.

I just fence foil, for Israel, although I live in the UK so it's kind of tricky.

cool. u got ICQ/MSN ?? well i am not that pro yet lol i training only half a year. well i am #1 in Israel cadets but u know Israel cadets sabre is sux and i dont like to see the sabre so suck when the epee and the foil are so good so i moved to sabre to try to make the israel sabre with some future. about the trainings hmmm i dont know i need to talk to my trainer.

i agree, the present state of sabre fencing in this country is backward to say the least. however, the more converts the better. i know of one chap who will happily coach a national sabre squad...he just needs sufficiently many up and coming fencers, like u'rself. i know jews are not 'sposed to prosletiyse...but i think we can make an exception in this case ;-)
