FS: new 6.5 Adidas Assymetrical shoes

$120 or make an offer. I bought them a half size to big in Columbus.
I wore them for one strip of footwork before I put them away.
I can bring them to San Diego this month.

Thanks,
Susan

Re: Shoes

The more I read on the different types of gear the more I wished I did not
live in Alaska. I don't have the luxury of trying on items before I order
them. I get my shot once a year at nationals.

I have seen a lot of people wear the addidas asymmetrical shoe. How is this
on Ankle support as I have falling arches and have to be careful with shoes.
I am currently wearing a pair of Nike's (court type shoes) that seem to work
well with the proper inserts.

Re: Shoes

I just got a pair of the Asyms and they're great (I have arch problems,
too). Since you have to use mail-order, I'll warn you that they run small. I
had to get mine 1/2 size larger than my other tennis shoes. Also, Give Saul
at the Fencing Post a call at 800 459-7207. He has them on sale for only
$150.

Re: Shoes

Assymetrics also come in high tops, so you can choose that for more ankle
support.

Re: Shoes

Adidas makes a hightop martial arts shoe, $50-60 that works great. Very
light, thin soled, not a ton of arch support, but great floor feel. Better
for fencing than TKD ( Taekwondo).

Actually, I buy most of my shtuff from The Fencing Post, they have good
service. I had a really bad experience with blue gauntlet (actually multiple),
so I switched. The only good thing I've gotten from them are their sabre
blades, but I buy those at tournaments only, I don't order them (their lames
tend to die really fast). Have you had good customer service from them? Maybe
if you know them personally it's better.
