Other British Junior Men's foilists are Laurence Halsted and David Risely (5th at last year's World Juniors). Both have had fairly miserable seasons in Junior World Cups.

Even Laurence's biggest fan would hardly decribe him as mature or responsible but, since I'm diabetic myself, you'd have to wonder what he spiked this guys drink with. Pure glucose? Anything less (e.g. Coke instead of Diet Coke) and all that would happen is that the guy spends a lot of the evening running to the toilet. Hardly life-threatening even if not that funny for the victim.

What happened with Halsted, Riseley at al at the Junior Worlds? Rumour has it they all got sent home for basically getting rat arsed and trashing their hotel...

According to David, the Disciplinary Committee was meeting this past week, so something should have been decided. I believe that the results will be published in the Sword, but that wont be for two or three months.

You would have to ask someone on the BFA Disciplinary Committee (although I doubt any read here). I spoke to someone from the BFA Board today - in passing - and they don't know anything about the outcome of the committee...
