I'm Doomed!

Just when I thought I could start fencing weather (last week) and illness (this week) have conspired against me. I've developed a viral inner ear infection which has me unable to walk straight, let alone drive or fence. So I'm on an anti vertigo pill until it clears up but the doc told me these cases occassionally end up in hospital....heres to feeling dizzy! Sorry for burdening you all with this but ITS NOT FAIR!!!!

Vestibulitis ... not fun at all. I guess your doctor gave you some meclizine and lorazepam (or other benzodiazepine if it is too bad that you need it to sleep). Fortunately, it is self-limiting and rarely has any sequelae. PM me if you want (and can see a stationary computer screen ...

Aww...Zelda darling. It could be worse! You could have a stress fracture, followed by pregnancy!

Hey, now that I'm back on heart medication, I'm planning on getting back on that strip. Woohoo!

You know how it goes..."it could be worse."

Sometimes, though, it does seem that nature is out to get us when we want to fence.

I hope you feel better VERY soon! Those are nasty little bugs. Not fun at all!

Zelda

Hi Zelda, having the flu-like symptoms is not fun, I would get a big pile of books, preferably fencing books, stay in bed and read!
