| NEWS: FCO Mixed Epee A2 event! THE FIVE COLLEGE OPEN IS NOW AN A2 EVENT!
Well, technically not yet. we have the A's, the B's, and the C's, but we do need the 25 people. since the tournament isn't til the 19th of April, we fully expect to have that WELL before the event.
in fact, we are toying with the idea of an A4. that is, obviously, going to take a lot of doing, but we are working on it. you can do your part by pre-registering for the tournament now! http://www.umass.edu/rso/fencing/5COpen.html
hope to see you all there! feel free to pass this info on to your clubmates who don't read this forum.

Taro is probably not fencing. Ian we expect to be. Roni we haven't talked to yet that I know of. Who were you thinking of? While you're at it, get the rest of Brown to come.
I'll be fencing in Long Island on Saturday and will work on people there (Justin, et al).
In other news, the pre-registration has been migrated to askfred.net which will allow for somewhat better management of the registration lists. The link off the event site has been updated to reflect this change and all previously entered people are entered into the new system.

| to mike: i'm in the southern division, i won't be to your epee event, but it looks great. i'll be fencing this weekend's open [it'll be okay, i've fenced epee here in two events, did well second event, came in 8th for open - hope to do better next time, the kids here are killers, i have a lot of competition with more flexible knees!]
to oiuyt: what city on Long island? LI is my birthplace i was born in Nassau County, I understand fencing there is pretty strong, lots of long islanders showing up to nationals and doing well. and good luck to you -
sorry for the edit, didn't want to make anyone nervous, so just left on for a few minutes. btw, i don't like to be paranoid, but posting up-coming events may not be that good an idea, what is your experience with this.
