    length of body cord

    I got parts to make a body cord, but don't know how long the wires should be. Is it just arbitrary, or are there rules? Thanks.

    The only rule dealing with length is on the foil and sabre bodycords the A-lead must be a least 40 cm in length that doesn't inclued the clip I cut my at 45 to 50 cm in length for repair reason. Other then that there is no rules on length. I have custom made them from 3 feet for youths to 61/2 for taller adults
