Fixing Lame

Yeah, got dead spots.

Any brilliant ideas?

Any alternatives to unpleasant looking patches?

if you just want to keep it for practice then try this

It's metalic thread which you can sort of use with a sewing machine. I have used it to recover a couple of dead lames up to a useable level.

Mrs Loomis saved my lame!

I was at the NAC in Arlington and my lamee failed: ( dead spot: ( Well I brought it over to Mrs. Loomis who isolated the dead spot. we discussed the options and to make a long story short she used that new thread "lamee saver" or somethinglike that and BAM the lamee passes and save me the cost of a new Lamee.

So Yes the Lamee can be saved and I would recomend bringing it to a larger tournament and putting it in the hands of Mr 7 Mrs. Ye Olde Armourer

Good luck with the lamee!
