| Highly OT... Does anyone know how one can print out ones Favorites on MS Explorer, without tediously cutting and pasting the URLs one at a time into a Word document or the like? |

| if it's all directly in 'Favourites' (with no sub-folder-thingies) and doesn't go off the page, you could try a print screen. But That would give the link, if you have it display names instead.

| Inq,
May I ask why you need to do this? My response on what to do will vary with what it is you are trying to do. Let me know and I'll hopefully have an easy answer for you.

| on win98 the frovorites are stored in
C:\WINDOWS\Favorites
so if you just want to transfer you favorites you will probably be best off just copying the lfiles/folder |

-w | I am losing my current job as of Friday, and all my links are on the computer at work. No telling when or if I'll have internet access or the leisure to use it in my next position, but in case I do I'd like to have a record of the URLs so that I needn't go searching for some, stumbling upon others, and generally wasting time reinventing the wheel... |

| Yes...but the disk is useful only if one has another computer into which to insert it...plus, I'm just one of those dinosaurs who likes to have a paper copy of important stuff. |

| Download Mozilla from www.mozilla.org. Mozilla will automatically import your IE favourites which are stored as an HTML file. Put the HTML file on a disk [or print out] and hey presto! You can take your favourites with you and consign IE to the rubbish heap it deserves - all at the same time.
ps. If you're only interested in a browser then try Phoenix - it's nice and fast.

| Well, it's my work computer. Company property. Downloading stuff like that or otherwise customizing is not encouraged.... |

| favorites folder is what you need. unfortunately you can't do much with it without another machine. But I would recommend gav's suggestion. What you could do, is copy the favorites folder off onto disk (zip it up first, and e-mail yourself or a friend a copy as disks like to die unexpectedly). and install mozilla on a friends machine and follow gav's suggestion.
