How do you add a message to a post without make a whole new reply message? I
have not firgured this out. Thanks in advance ofr the help.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Do you mean edit a post you have
made? If so, you cannot do this because once you post the message it
gets emailed all round the globe and stored on various news servers as
well as ending up in individuals' in-boxes.

Just a piece of friendly advice - there are thousands of different
news groups around and if you have a question that does not fit within
the subject of one there will almost certainly be another group that
is more suitable. For example, I have just found the group
news.newusers.questions where you will probably be able to get better
answers to questions about newsgroups than in rec.sport.fencing. If,
for whatever reason, you do post something in a group that is not
relevant to the subject of the group it is customary to put [OT] at
the start of the subject to signify that it is "Off-Topic".
