Power supply for St. George 12 machine

Greeting one & all.

I am looking for information on replacing the power supply for a St. George
12 (SG12) scoring machine. I know that I must mach the voltage and amps of
the specs for the machine but the problem is we have several machines at our
club and some of them use slightly different power supplies. I can¹t find a
web site for the company that makes the machines. Any ideas?

The most convenient source is Radio Shack becaise they have choices for the end
fitting that goes into the machine.

The Sg-12's are, in my experience, not too persnickety about the power supply.
I had an old, practically unfiltered, power supply that my father-in-law used
for a scanner. The SG-12, as well as our Sabre Industries machine, works quite
well on it.

RS has one model with about a 2-3 amp capacity that several others have used
successfully. It costs about $30-40. It also has an outlet where you can plug
in a cigarret lighter type plug.

I'll concur with Bill that Radio Shack is a good place to look for a replacement
supply. The 'adaptaplug' system
they use will make it fairly easy to ensure you get the right connector-- the SG
uses one that's a common standard. If you still want to get an "OEM" power supply,
Blue Gauntlet is the prime source for SG machines and parts in the U.S. (all the SG
machines used for NACs
are leased from BG).
