Check out the new fencing shoes from Adidas. The "Adipower".

I found at allstar.de these new pair of fencing shoes and made a post in my blog about them. Probably these shoes will be the new model for London 2012. The price will be arround 200 usd.

To see images of the shoes, click the following link:

For a while I was fencing in Feather III's in that same color. The only problem I had was that the sole was optimized for clay court tennis and there were traction issues on wood gym floors.

I'd totally wear those. I'd wear the hell out of them.

I'm disappointed. They don't seem to have any of the simplicity or elegance of design that most of the classic Adidas shoes were known for. Everythings all big and poofy and plasticy looking. That, and is it just me, or does it seem like they have no traction at all??

Im sure on metallic pistes they'll be very good but as with all fencing shoes thats where the performance ends to a point.

I cant think of either a sports hall or a shoe that work well together for fencing. My club trains on the traditional wooden floored gym and no shoe deals with the dust that sits on top be it the Ballestra, Hi-Techs or current Adidas shoes.

    Id happily try them though
