True enough, although "evil" is not the same as "ineffectual". I think the award addresses rather the ability to achieve objectives than the worthiness of the objectives...
Hey, no less an authority than Mr. Spock had praise for Hitler's..."administrative ability". Use the Shift key, people! Keyboard manufacturers everywhere are ineffably saddened when you ignore what they made just for you! -

Hey, no less an authority than Mr. Spock had praise for Hitler's..."administrative ability". Reminds me of the trick question "was Hitler a good leader"? -

Array How pissed do you think Gingrich is that Trump endorsed Romney? "Oh, how convenient! A theory about God that doesn't require looking through a telescope. Get back to work!" -

He was also minority whip for 6 years before that, a job which is pretty much ALL "administration". Seems to have been fairly effective. Of course I do. And wasn't it TIME magazine who published a cover later portraying Gingrich as a crying baby once Bill Clinton cleaned his clock? So much for the "Man of the year" thing. The world never seems so clear as it does through the mesh of a fencing mask.

Array It's not about Time, or the award. It's about what he did to get it. Which is: Pretty much the opposite of "clearly unable to adminster and delegate". Use the Shift key, people! Keyboard manufacturers everywhere are ineffably saddened when you ignore what they made just for you! -

Array Allowing K-Street, "The Hammer" and other offenses against humanity? You want to claim those were good administration and delegations? Sounds like he was minding the counter while the store was robbed. "Good job, the counter stayed where it belonged!" Right-of-way doesn't matter if there is a single light. -
