The College of the Desert Fencing Team in Palm Desert, California will
be performing at a Lord of the Rings event, Fencing Show & Exhibition
this Saturday, January 25, 2003 at the Castle City, 82530 Highway 111,
Indio, California at 6 p.m.
We invite the public to join Coach Leslie Taft as the COD Fencing team
engages in exciting swordplay to kickoff the Desert Fencing Academy
opening in February.
Dinner & Show is $10 per person or $5 for show only. Admission also
includes a chance to win a Lord of the Rings Sword that evening.
Collectible swords and daggers available for purchase. The
entertaining show will also include the Martial Arts weapons team of
Master Lana Hyde Studios. If you are in the local area, come out and
enjoy a great evening of entertainment and fun & help bring a fencing
