Array For foil blades: (Always use maraging. The extra cost is more than made up for by the durability and feel of the blades.)
I've used the vniti foil blades for a while. The blades are stiffer than AllStar and heavier at the tang, but I like the balance and once I worked them in, they hold a bend fine and flick okay.
The vniti blades I had lasted forever (the first one I had lasted a little over 1 year as my #1 foil, 3-4 nights a week of practice plus tournaments.)
I felt like my parries were more substantial and the balance of my foil was really good with the vniti blade.
Recently, I've tried the BF blades and those are pretty good. Different balance point to get used to and not as stiff in the middle third of the blade.
Hope that helps,

Array The cheapest Russian sabre blades to be found. Because I haven't noticed an iota of superiority performance-wise of the expensive German ones...OTOH the degree of dejection produced by breaking one is much lower as well.
But then, with sabre blades there're no worries about microthreads for tip, grooves for wires, etc. Just your basic length of steel...though I do like to sift through the greasy stacks of blades at NACs for variations in stiffness among the cheapos. -

Array I like LP V blades. I like the fact that they take a nice bend and have very little lateral movement. Similar Threads -
