Since it's sabre, I'll give it 5 seconds of fencing time, or 30 seconds of actual time.

I didn't mean for the Olympic team, but I just thought there were some other good fencers out there (I think I mistook what you mean... I've gotta stop skimming ). For a while at least Annika Eiremo was up there (since her injury she's been not quite as consistant) from California, Carolyn's doing pretty well considering, Emma Baratta (I don't think she used to live in NY, but hasn't she been coached by Yury for a while now?), and Jamal (who is also a good fencer). Some other fencers such as these up there, though I doubt they will make the olympic team. You're right, Sada has a lock-in, and I'd say the race is probably between Mariel, Emily, and (maybe?) Amelia Gaillard. (I mean this all with no hard feelings toward all you Nellya and Oregon folk... they're all very hard working and excellent fencers).

On the topic of Arkady, he as a person who's not my coach has said something mean to me, and also a few months later once refused to shake my hand when introduced to me formally, so I'm a bit biased.

oh, and on the original topic of the subject... WAY TO GO SADA!! That's pretty dang cool.
