I think most of my favourite bits have been said. I do remember a time when the reading in my university college chapel was the beatitudes and the faces of the entire choir (including me) were twisted with the effort of not laughing and not saying "blessed are the greek, for they shall inhibit their girth" along with the reader.
Similarly, although not Python-ly, is anyone familiar with the Peter Cook and Dudley Moore psalm? It was a real chant but the words were very rude. Once we all stood up in choir regearsal, ready to practise the psalm, and it was that chant. I was disintegrating with the effort of not singing "I 'aven't laughed so much since grandma died/And auntie Mabel caughth her left tit in the mangle"
