    i need some help

I live in Louisiana, near Baton Rouge. I am VERY interested in fencing, and my friends and I go in the back yard with sticks and basically beat each other up. I would like to learn how to fence, but I can't seem to find anywhere that offers lessons near my home (or in louisiana for that matter). If anyone knows of a place or can refer me to a website or somthing that I can find somewhere local, I would greatly appreciate it.

There are two good sources for the information you want. First right here, click on clubs and the USFA web site www.USFencing.org and go to Info for Members and then Clubs and Divisions.

LSU has a fencing club. I tried going to their web site, but the address that both fencing.net and the USFA web site does not work. You might try calling the University. Also from the USFA web site, I found the Louisianna Fencing Web site http://www.louisianafencing.org/ and one of their categories is 'Fencing in Baton Rouge' which points to Dr. Price who has long been associated with LSU.

This should give you enough information.
