Array Arlington Convention Center Questions, questions!
Anyone familiar with this venue---how is it? One room, several? Are there showers, changing rooms? How about places to eat nearby, ie not the no doubt exorbitant on-site vendors? Fast food, sit-down restaurants? There's supposed to be a local trolley---how much does it cost, how often does it run, and where? -

Array That's about all the help I can offer. I know there are dining establishments in the area just not sure about walking distance. I'm usually going past the convetion center on my way to The Ballpark. I've usually had a couple of beers or margaritas by that time too. How else can I watch a team like the the TX Rangers play?

Array With your eyes closed?
But thanks anyway. Are you going to be fencing the NAC, or just passing by again? -

Array I'll be fencing at the NAC assuming I don't fall off a canyon wall on my hiking trip this weekend. I will save the margarita's for after fencing !

Array This will be my first time in Austin, so I'm not speaking from personal experience... However, several of my friends have said that for eats and entertainment, the Sixth Street area is a good bet (one friend said it's the ONLY bet!). Citysearch has lots of info on Austin, and there are several watering holes with live music on Sixth Street. -

Array Well, Austin is not for a couple of months yet. It's Arlington, which I take to be a suburb of Dallas, where next week's NAC is, in which I'm interested at the moment... Similar Threads -
