Array Lesson plans I'm the pseudo-instructor at my fencing club, and have been using a more or less haphazard method of choosing my "lesson of the day." That is, I walk in, think for 10 seconds about what I saw go wrong the most at the last practice, and come up with a plan. I think that it may be better for me and the other club members if I had an actual lesson plan where I systematically work through a series of issues/moves over the course of the semester. Anyone have (or know where this is in a book or posted on the web) a lesson plan for beginning and intermediate fencers? I'm really just looking for an idea of how much stuff you work in to a typical practice and how quickly you would take a group of 10-20 (moderately coordinated high-school and college) fencers forward. We meet twice a week for two 14 week semesters.

Array Here's a suggestion Hello! I am a beginner, but I have two suggestions; One, on this website, there's drills that kinda go in order from basic to more advanced. Also, look at some books on Amazon.com to get you started. Hope this helps! -

Array the germans have an entire system for lessons, very orderly methodical (very german). i dont know if there's a website for it... ask a coach somewhere. but every lesson is planned out ahead of time. -

Array Hey bug, i think my swearing is a little more offensive than yours.
Nobody can hear a bug scream anyway. if they could the world would be alot louder everytime someone steps on one. -

Array a517dogg, my swearing is just as offensive, it's just a little quieter. i have a little more self-control than you do... Similar Threads -
