| Both fencePBT.com and thefencingpost.com advertise the service on their website. But I would think that most places would / could do it if you asked them.

| Saul at The Fencing Post can do it.
I've been doing business with for over 6 years. He has never failed. All orders get here on time, prices are good (order online and you get 20% off) and overall service is great.

| True enough.
Saul did my sabre lamé -- and on very short notice. Fencing Post for customer service (and the 20% web discount ain't bad neither).

| Triplette put my name and country on mine. In retrospect though in this post 9/11 world where everyone is being so patriotic and getting psyched up for war having 'Harm USA' written in big letters on my clothing might of been a bad idea, I've gotten some funny looks for it. |

| What kind of paint do they use?
Does anyone know? I am sure it is conductive. It seems like it would not be too difficult to do it yourself if you have the right paint.
And is there a regulation size and color?

| Really? I noticed that it does not cause there to be a dead spot. I wonder how that works.

| At Triplette they say that they use a special laser jet cartridge that is conductive. They print the name onto an iron on transfer.
They say that the lettering must not inhibit conductivity.
I wonder if ink-jet would work.

| It is more of a dye than paint. You can do it yourself by buying those dye pens. All you need is to have some kind of template for the letters. You can also use a small airbrush with dye. You just have to be careful.

| For the artistically illiterate amongst us exactly what are "those dye pens" called and where would I find them. I would like to try doing it myself on some old gear. Any info would be appreciated!
Thanks,

| I discovered when I arrived at the NAC there was a guy set up who did names on the spot. Twenty bucks for a name plus $5 more if you want a country put on too.
Wished I'd known that before I got there! |

| This is only in regards to pants, because I don't know if this would stay conductive but go to a "T-Shirt CIty" or seomthing. It is much cheaper, around $3 +50cents a letter. This is opposed to the $20 from stores like FencingPost.
