how many things wrong do you see here? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIPSi...eature=related look at 5:11 and and all the different angles, and tell tell me if that was not a cora cora (what ever the spelling is) and then the next action, how is that NOT Montano's touch? maybe hes selling it.. maybe not.. thats saber for you... just curious.(im an epee fencer, ya know?) if you have to scream for a touch when when you know dam well you dont diserve it, please, go shoot yourself. -
Because it just wasn't his touch? Except for maybe the red card for a bell to the mask that should have come out but a lot of refs won't penalize the scoring fencer for that action if the guy that got hit started a late action. I now dangle to the left....my tassle. Get your minds out of the gutter.

Was it the bell or the forte of the blade that hit him? -
Honestly, I watched about 20 sec of the bout via YouTube on an older generation iPhone. I suppose it could have been the forte of the blade but it didn't really look like it. I now dangle to the left....my tassle. Get your minds out of the gutter.

Array No corps-a-corps at the 5:11 point. The guard to face should be red-card. Bad idea for the referee to not acknowledge the guard to face. Now, Montano might decide to do a guard to face as payback and then things could get dangerous. Subsequent calls by ref showed he was breaking apart. -

Array I'm still breaking apart from seeing the spelling rendered "cora cora".

My bad D, I guess I just figured this was the same Purple Fencer who kinda routinely misspells some relatively basic words in both regular English and fencing parlance. I now dangle to the left....my tassle. Get your minds out of the gutter.

Array Yes, but 'rediculous' was the cause of some some merriment on another thread and now threatens to attain meme status... Use the Shift key, people! Keyboard manufacturers everywhere are ineffably saddened when you ignore what they made just for you! -

Nah....THOSE are just my normal typos (not true misspellings....I just tend to miss them when I reread the post, or hit send before reading them for errors....I DO know how to spell) -

And Gabe? It's spelled "Corps-a-corps" (and pronounced "core ah core")

Oh dear. And now we're going to have another thread about lines.
......... Now, I find "rediculous" an entirely plausible spelling. It's written the way it sounds. Similarly, I would consider "coracor" or the like also plausible. But "cora cora" smacks of the same imprecision and inattention in listening as "vice-a versa" that drives me just a bit batty. -

Array Well, yes, and I don't know how one lines an island with sound. Blanket it, perhaps... Use the Shift key, people! Keyboard manufacturers everywhere are ineffably saddened when you ignore what they made just for you! -
