Quit (no longer with us)
Array Appel to Earlie Earlie, I just read your post. It's so out of line. You sound very angry with fencers. It is because you see fencing as being a frivolous alternative to staying home while the world is in conflict. I agree. There are other ways to express this discomfort with the dilema. On one hand, staying home is a way to not enjoy ourselves, and I agree again, it is difficult to 'enjoy' fencing. Most of us just go to the gym to be around people we know and can talk with about what is happening in the world. Also, many people from the Army and Airforce fence with us, it is a morale booster for them and a way for those people to get back with us. I miss classes, but I also go to warm up my neighborhood, that is on the edge of a riot. So, we'll go fence, buddy, but it won't be real easy. Similar Threads -
