Imboden is having a great year-- very nice to be top 16 out of pools at a GP. Very tough match-ups tomorrow. Good luck to all.

I'm assuming that Baldini went out in the 32, not in the 64 to Goldstein or we would have heard about it.

David Willette was the top US fencer. He lost in the top-16 to Simoncelli. All the rest of the US foilists were reportedly out in the 64.

    2 - Luca Simoncelli (Italy)
    3 - Andrea Cassara (Italy)
    3 - Focone Alessio (Italy)

Waiting on final results for placements of the US fencers.

What kind of name is "Gerek" anyway? He's a great fencer and a great guy, but I was just curious what ethnicity "Gerek" is from

    Funny points system mojo:

Miles Chamley-Watson lost in the 64, but moved up to 2nd place in the FIE rankings.
