This is a call to all Fencers that have attended any of the Claremont Colleges, past [and future I suppose...] If you were a student of Dr.Zold's during his tenure at Pomona College as a fencing coach, if you were on the Scripps Fencing Team, the Harvey Mudd Fencing Club, the Pomona Fencing Team or were a fencer independent of the Consortium activities, please contact me.

Since last year, the Claremont Colleges have seen sizable growth. Unfortunately, it is difficult to sustain the club without necessary funds to, most importantly, afford a Coach. While we have one here on a volunteer basis, it would be a shame to lose fencers because we have no rigidity to our program. There have been quite many fencers that have left the Claremont Colleges in the past years without ever touching their equipment because there was simply no program at the Colleges to support it. We have it now and we want to keep it.
Please contact me if you were at all involved with fencing at the Claremont Colleges or if you simply would like to lend a hand. Any information would be great - classmates that may have attending the Colleges and were involved, people currently in the USFA arena from the Colleges, etc.
