In an effort to always provide the best Tournaments possible Mission Fencing has added 4 50" Plasma screens in addition to our 4 Projectors with 18' foot displays. We use these screens to display all the tournaments information. We have also increased and added more wifi.

The ROC is designed to promote and develop strong regional tournaments for fencers who seeks competitive opportunities beyond the local and sectional level but below the NAC Div I level. Top 10% qualify to Div 1A at Nationals. $45 event fee $20 reg fee. Registration is not complete until payment is made through askfred.net
Jeff Wolfe, a longtime coach at Brentwood High School, fenced at New York University. After graduating he became a teacher at Brentwood High School where he began both a Boys' Team and a Girls' Team.
The Girls' Team was the first girls' varsity program on Long Island.
During his tenure (1971- 1998) the Girls' Team had 18 undefeated seasons, 19 League Championships and 18 Sectional Championships. The team set a N. Y. State record winning 98 consecutive dual meets.
Jeff Wolfe's W-L record at Brentwood was 388-14.
Eight of his fencers became collegiate All- Americans
Four represented the United States in international competition.
In 1987, he was the first recipient of the NFCAA Regional Coach Of the Year Award
In 1988 he was named to coach the US Cadet Team at the Continental Cadet Championships and the World Cadet Championships.
He continues to coach as an assistant at Ward Melville High School.
In 2006 the Long Island Division of the USFA announced that beginning in 2007 it would give a Coach Of the Year Award named the "Jeff Wolfe Coach Of the Year Award"

By Plane:
ISP is the closest airport aproximately 30 minutes away. Host hotel will provide free shuttle to and from airport.
JFK has convenient public transportation with the Air Train ($5.00) at all terminals that can be taken to Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) which will get you close enough for the host hotel to provide free shuttle.
LGA is less than an 1.5 hours away (without traffic) from the venue by car. A taxi will charge about $30.00 to the closest LIRR which will get you to the host hotels shuttle service.
EWR is another option. Public transportation would involve a bus to Penn Station NYC than a LIRR train to host hotel or venue and could be quite a long trip. A car can be a 2 hour trip without traffic.
By Ferry (Conn., Mass., NH, Vermont, upstate NY):
Port Jeff/Bridgeport Ferry: 15 minutes from venue, cabs available, lots of scheduling options, rarely full this time of year.
Orient Point/ New London Ferry: scenic drive from Orient Point less than an hour from venue.
By Train (NYC, Conn, Mass, Upstate NY):
LIRR: Get to Penn Station take LIRR on Port Jefferson line to end. $15.00 taxi gets you to the venue.
By Car: Address above assuming GPS go with Rocky Point Post office. If no GPS get directions from website. Trouble spots: 25 and 25A are two very different roads. Once in shopping center go around back of Kohls or Michaels. Free available parking anywhere in Shopping Center.
