Swordsen (Stuart Johnson)
PS this really messes things up for the fencign students at my school who were just getting excited about going to competitions, planning a trip to summer nationals, and working at becoming better fencers.

Array Bummer,
The same thing happened to a fencer at my club-- Tom Gandley, for those who have been around for a while-- who's in the National Guard. He was active in fencing a few years ago, took a break and was just starting to get back into competitive form.
He's in Colorado Springs for either a year, or when the National Guard gets good and ready to let him go, if they don't send him elsewhere.
Well, be safe. One cat leads to another--Ernest Hemingway.

Quit (no longer with us)
Array yeah....as our friend from the other paragraph says: duck and cover, tell your buddies too. p.s. one question, why does what's his name insist on ending his posts with" if you set a man on fire he'll be warm the rest of his life" it's sort of makes light of the peace corps motto: if you teach a man how to fish he can eat for the rest of his life, no offense here, it is silly, but there must be another way to let those people know you think their motto is trite.

Array C'mon, Magma, lighten up...it's funny.
Oh, and Iwant2be? It's "Ad Astra". As in Ad Astra Per Aspera: To the Stars though Hope (or Faith, depending on how you interpret it).
Best of luck, Swordsen. Come back to us.

Array Stuart,
Welcome aboard. Best of luck. Three years ago today I was in your shoes for my first mobilization. Was just notified that I am being extended a year on this one. PM if you have any questions or problems. I'll see what I can do to help.
