The main problem with compaqs used to be that they stored their bios on the hard drive. This meant that you always needed to keep the same HD in your pc. Upgrading was not easy. I don't know if they still do this but I found out the hard way.

haha thats cool Gav no phil collins for you.....my fav kinda music is techno and hard rock/metal trust me i catch alot of flack from people that i know because i like linkin park yeah i like system,disturbed,staticx,afi,taproot,hatebreed,sev endust,zombie,ozzy, etc etc, my sister is seven years older than me with like six peircings mostly on her face so yeah i grew up hating britney spears and lovin peircings lol.......(i only have two) but to the phil and motley heads out there there is nothing wrong with them the sad thing is i know most of their songs by heart cause ive heard them so much oh and dont forget jimmy buffet \m/ oh ps. korn has always sucked

JPL good luck on your 'puter problems. You could always ask your dad for a new 'puter. Thanks for the PM about your "pinkie" situation. I haven't been on the board for awhile, so it's all new news to me. I listen to all kinds of music myself. Allthough, I tend to listen to a lot of techno.

hi sweetie, well co-wink-i-dentally- lickin park's featured today on Yahoo! they look like a band! lol [love it or leave it], i like scappy fiddle music if that's what they play? haven't had a chance to listen to them; do you like old stuff; like what you're mom listened to: how about the Eagles? i wanted to play guitar at one time, but had to abandon the idea, if i played it would have to be bass, other music would have to be spanish music. It doens't rock! it brings you up. i don't care about body peircing really, i just wonder if it's going to be okay when you're 50 years old, will the peirce's look okay?

i dont have anything really visible i only have my tounge and belly button pierced and i can take out my toung when going to apply for a job or somthing i would never get anything on my face unlike my sister.....yes i love all types of music including the eagles,jimmy buffet,bruce springsteen(he was ripped at the grammys)boston,journey, anything you could probably name i like ...except polka, but i love irish music and reels (im irish) almost took up irsh step dance but i came back to fencing.....and my brother in-law was trying to teach me to play guitar i even bought one but i havent practiced that much....

the tongue thing, well, I suppose it's okay, but watch it doesn't interfere with your fencing, see what happens if you don't wear it fencing, you may fence a little stronger.

i talked with a bunch of kids with lots of peircing, tongue, eyebrow, nose, tongue, bellybutton, and it's sort of difficult after a while, but up to you. watch about the really gross staph thing that eats away the skin though, like be careful in future that they use bleach on the needle puncher.

we thought ear peircing was daring.

yeah it dosent mess with my fencing ive had my tounge done for a year and my belly button two years so ive gotten used to it while im doing anything....ive never had infection or anything with either so i think im in the clear....

My girlfriend has quite a few peircings - I won't go into details about where they all are - however I don't have any. Don't have any tat's either.

Tongue and belly are nothing to worry about.

the only place i have conversation is in this board, the fencin101.com board, it's a bout fencing, we all talk about fencing generally, that's all, unless something really civic comes up like the 911 thing, then we all got on and yelled from our city/states/what was happening, and now we talk abit about the war and try to map things out a bit. i don't think anyone is interested in like, meeting up with anyone on the board, we generally run into each other on the strip. some like to tell their fencing101.com name, but most keep it a sssshhhhhh secret!
i don't know which is better, but i've had people run up to me in broad daylight and say "mango!" which depending on things was okay, but now, it's not, so we all chilled, and now we're undercover as it were.

these guys are sort of old now, but i used to idolize them when i was 20 - john maglocolin could play guitar like i don't know what, like a complete genius on wheels.
